We pride ourselves on the excellent quality of our produce, as well as our service. Please ensure you read and agree with the following terms and conditions before using H.E Williams & Son, as they outline what you can expect from us and also the terms when you place an order.

COVID-19

We have done what we can to ensure that we adhere to Government guidelines, to protect both staff and customers. If you come into our shop, please ensure that you wear a face covering (unless you are exempt) and social distance.

Kerbside collection

If you order online for kerbside collection, please order 24 hours ahead of collection. To place an order, you must be over 18 years of age and have a credit or debit card in your name.

The price of the goods will be as quoted on the website at the time you confirm your order by clicking “Checkout”

We reserve the right to decline any order or suspend your account with us at our discretion.

Our terms and conditions will apply when you place your order.

If you need to cancel your order, please do so at least 24 hours ahead of collection (cut off time) by giving us a call. If you cancel your order after the cut off time, we may charge you in full.

If you order goods which are unavailable, we shall notify you and will either suggest a replacement or will provide you with a full refund.

If you are dissatisfied

We are committed to providing excellent service and the very best produce so if you are dissatisfied, please get in touch. Goods should be inspected immediately and if your expectations are not met, let us know promptly.

Please note, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of our supply or failure to supply goods to you.

Some of our products may contain allergens such as traces of nuts. we will ensure that contents such as this are clearly listed on our labels and online shop. If you need further information on this, do get in touch.

When you purchase our goods on the basis that you are a consumer, we will not be liable for any special losses that you might suffer using, distribution or reselling the goods as part of a business.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all perishable goods are refrigerated as soon as possible upon receipt. Further, if you or a third party moves, transports or delivers the goods to any other address following collection, we shall not be liable for anything that that third party might do to the goods or any subsequent deterioration in the produce

Due to the nature of certain artisan products the minimum and maximum weight cannot always be guaranteed. Whole products such as turkeys, chickens etc may not always meet the exact criteria within our store. We will not except liability for under or over weight products, the published price is the unit price. We will however always endeavour to meet weight expectations.

There may be occasions when our website is undergoing maintenance. We will keep these occasions to a minimum but when it does occur, we will restore access when we can.

General

Any failure by us to enforce any of our rights under this Agreement shall not prejudice our entitlement to rely on any of our rights in the future.

We shall not be liable for delays or failures to perform our obligations if that delay of failure arises from events beyond our reasonable control.

We reserve the right to change our website, policies and terms and conditions at any time but this shall not affect the terms and conditions prevailing at the time you make a purchase.

Whilst we take the utmost care to ensure that all product descriptions, images, information and prices are accurate, we do not accept any liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions. Colour and shape may vary from those shown on the website.

This Agreement is governed by the laws or England and Wales and both parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
